my aunt catherine...fierce female vol. 3

this is my great-aunt catherine dewey who turns 100 this sunday. aside from having been on this earth for 100 years, which is quite an accomplishment in and of itself, also graduated from portia law school (now the new england school of law) at a time when women weren't encouraged to pursue higher education, much less law school, aaaaaaaaaaaaand, (this is the kicker) SHE STARTED THE FIRST ALL FEMALE LAW FIRM IN THE UNITED STATES. she's precious.
