a brief rant...

what has happened to common courtesy? today, i was riding the t to work, as i do every day, and usually, i enjoy my time on public transportation, as it is an excellent opportunity to fulfill my anthropological curiosity and people watch. and one of the things that i have noticed is the lack of of common courtesy. it really is reprehensible, i mean, if you are able bodied (i know its early and i know that you're tired) and you see and elderly person or a pregnant woman standing, GIVE THEM YOUR SEAT. its really that simple. if you are a person who keeps count of these things, you can offer it up, or feel good knowing that you did your good deed for the day. so, moral of the story is, BE POLITE.
