david sedaris, augusten burroughs, our generation has been defined by authors who devote themselves to making a literary art form out of the dysfunctional family. one of my newest favorites is this guy...i don't know his real name, but he posts as davesecretaryatwork and writes things like: EVERY GODDAMNED CHRISTMAS MY DAD AND MY UNCLE RON GET INTO IMPORTANT ARGUMENTS ABOUT POLITICS AND THE BEST AIRPORTS IN ZURICH AND WHICH PRESIDENTS ARE ASSHOLES IN PERSON AND THAT SORT OF THING. MY OTHER UNCLE D.
