i love that sesame street is celebrating 40 years on-air this year. i grew up watching it (yeah, thats right, we didnt have cable) and since i grew up in the city, i thought for the loooongest time that it was a place in boston that i could actually go to. i remember when luis and maria got married, when mr. hooper died, and when gordon and linda adopted miles. thank you for a happy happy childhood, sesame street.
